Preaching and Teaching the New Testament – Panel Discussion – Kuyper College, Grand Rapids

January 24, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.

To develop as preachers of God’s Word it is valuable to hear from good preachers and their approach to preaching. A panel of three preachers will discuss the Theology of Preaching – What is preaching? Why is preaching important? What is the purpose of preaching? The panel will also address the Practice of Preaching – preparation, method, structure, delivery, as well as other practical tips.

A Day with Ruth Haley Barton: Strengthening the Soul of Your Leadership – Plymouth Heights Christian Reformed Church, Grand Rapids

February 21, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

At this seminar, Ruth Haley Barton will guide you deeper into experiencing God’s care for your soul. You’ll explore how God wants to strengthen and equip you for the challenges you face, all while protecting and preserving the core of who God has made you to be. And you’ll dig into rich and restoring spiritual practices that will feed your soul. Through this seminar you will leave encouraged, empowered, and equipped for leading your organization, team, or business forward.

Early Bird pricing starts at $25 per person and runs through January 31. General registration then increases to $40 per person. In either case, registration includes lunch and lite snacks.
