A Worthwhile Resolution: Luminex Prayer Movement

Resolutions are often considered while on the threshold of entering a New Year. Most of us can think of things that we ought to be more resolved about in our daily lives.  I want to ask you to consider a resolution that could have tremendous impact beyond what you or I can imagine.

Would you personally consider making a resolution to join a prayer movement that is underway through Luminex?

I probably don’t need to convince you of the importance and power of prayer, but I do want you to think about what it could mean to join a prayer movement that is primarily “Kingdom focused.”  By this I mean joining with brothers and sisters in Christ to pray daily for those who have yet to experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ. To do this I suggest three simple steps:

  1. Make a “hit list” of people you will pray for daily to discover and experience the transforming love of Christ;
  2. On a daily basis, before you pray for anything else, pray over your “hit list;”
  3. Gather others in your church family to join you in this prayer movement.

Think about this: Of all the things you could do in the New Year, what could be more important than being part of a movement to increase the Kingdom of Jesus Christ? What could our neighborhoods, our cities, our country, our world, benefit more from than people transformed by the love of Jesus Christ?

If you are willing to get your church involved in the Luminex Prayer Movement, we would be happy to supply you with printed prayer cards. Please consider placing a prayer jar in your church for this specific purpose. And most of all, expect that God will hear and answer your prayers!
